WARREN GREENBERG It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Warren Greenberg on Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Health Sciences Centre after a courageous battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, Eva and Joe, brothers Sidney, Ted, Alan, Benny and their spouses, sister-in-law Rowena and sisters Elsie and Sylvia and their spouses. Warren was undeniably a very goodhearted, good-natured individual. He was a wonderful husband, great father and a caring grandfather. Taking good care of his family was of the utmost importance in his life and he will be very much missed and always fondly remembered in our thoughts of him. He is survived by his wife Luba of 55 years, daughters Barbara Greenberg and Dorothy Shuster, grandchildren Ryan and Ashley, his brother Leonard, many nieces and nephews, and a very special friend Al Johnston. A graveside service was held at Bnay Abraham cemetery on June 29, 2009. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Health Sciences for the excellent and compassionate care given to him. If desired, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or to a charity of one's choice.
